Puzzle
A Poem by Allana Alberto
I am a woman struggling to fit in
Everyday I do my hair, I paint my lips
I curl my hair and walk with a raised chin
I drive my car, I do my cooking
I do my job, I pay the bills
I shop but neither dresses or shoes
Can ever takeaway my blues
I have my house, I have my pet
I have my life completely set
But even with all these things
I still feel incomplete
I traveled the world with hopes and dreams
With my high heels carrying my feet
When will this loneliness cease
I need to find you
It is my most heartfelt wish
Where are you, my missing piece?
I love the last line….
