Poetry by Allana Alberto

Time ravaged my history

My own colors were washed away

Alone and forgotten

Someone please mourn for me

Life severed too quickly

Blood and scars remained

Several hands marked imprints on my body

My face has distorted

Unfound, unrecognized

Alive yet dead

Dig my grave

Somewhere on a hill

There I rest, the bones of a slave
