Good News for Milk Tea Lovers: Tiger Sugar comes to Philippines

Good news to all the milk tea lovers out there because Taiwan’s famous Tiger Sugar is finally here in the Philippines. Taichung’s popular milk tea brand is known for its signature brown sugar tea that comes in 14 variants. It is definitely a must try if you are a milk tea enthusiast like me.

The first PH branch opened last December 2018 in BGC. Then a second branch was set up in Eastwood and recently, they just opened their third branch in SM North, the Block in Quezon City. But beware! Most of the time their branches are filled with a long line of thirsty customers waiting to be quenched by this popular drink.

Tiger Sugar has been plaguing my social media for quite some time. We happen to be wandering around SM North and saw the branch. Out of curiosity and our love for anything sweet, we decided to give it a try. Rest assured that it did not take hours to wait and it only took like 15minutes, it was pretty quick.

Must Try Flavors

There are a total of 14 flavors to choose from. I would recommend starting with the bestsellers from Brown Sugar Boba Series. Brown Sugar Boba + Pearl with Cream Mousse. If you are wondering what is Boba, it’s just like a pearl but bigger and chewier. But if you are more of a tea lover their Brown Sugar Tea Latte series is perfect for you. Their Black Tea Latte or Green Tea with Cream Mousse is a must try.

Don’t forget to shake 15 times before drinking!

Is it Worth the Hype?

Yes! Yes, I would say that it is indeed worth the hype and enduring the long line. The drinks did not disappoint me! They just have the right level of sweetness and creaminess. Usually, sugary drinks would make you easily fed up with its sweetness but it’s not the case with Tiger Sugar.

I hope more branches would soon open here in the Philippines.
